Raaz o Niyaz

Some evenings ask very little of us.

Only that we arrive.

On 2 August, Sur Sangum Foundation opens a space for unhurried listening, where breath, silence, and music meet.

The evening begins with a grounding breathwork session led by yogi Salimah Kassim-Lakha. A gentle invitation to leave the outside world behind and settle into the present, one breath at a time.

From that stillness emerges Raaz o Niyaz.

Sitar virtuoso Neha Mahajan and tabla exponent Zaheer Abbas Janmohamed come together in a conversation that cannot be translated into words. The sitar speaks. The tabla responds. Between them lives a language older than memory, carried not through meaning but through feeling.

There is perhaps no more fitting setting than MyVitae. A sanctuary for wellbeing, healing and balance, it offers an intimacy rarely found in performance spaces. Here, the music is not simply heard. It is felt.

This is not an evening to attend. It is an evening to inhabit.
